When is my water bill due?
Bills are mailed out the last business day of each month and are due the 15th of each month. Late bills incur a 10% penalty and a $3 service fee. Services will be disconnected if late bills are not paid by the 25th of each month (with the penalty fee) unless arrangements have been made in advance. Water bills are to be kept current with no outstanding balance carrying over from month to month.
If the 15th falls on a weekend or a holiday, bills are still due by that day. Please make arrangements to put payments in the drop box or sign up for automatic bank draft. More about utility payments.
Can I pay my bill with a bank draft?
Yes. Come by the Town Office Monday – Friday from 8:00am – 4:45pm to set up the draft. More about utility payments.
Why did my water get cut off?

Does the town have a water theft policy?
Yes, as defined by Sec. 62-31 b-c of the Town Code.
“It shall be unlawful for any person to injure, deface or destroy any of the pipelines or any part of the pipelines of the water system of the town, including the main, extending from the town to the intakes at the mountain reservoirs, or for any unauthorized person to open, close, injure, deface or destroy any cock, wheel, fireplug, gate, valve gate, flush gate, air valve, water meter or any other fixture connected with or pertaining to the waterworks of the town. For each such offense every person shall be guilty of a class 1 misdemeanor.”
What day is trash picked up?
Trash is picked up every Tuesday morning starting at 6:30 AM. Please use trash cans to prevent animals from scattering the trash.

How much are town car decals?
Car decals are $25.00 annually. The decal is not changed out each year but the fee is due each year. If you trade your vehicle in or sell it, be sure to take the old decal off of your windshield and take it to the town office where you will be able to pay $1.00 for a transfer. You must be up to date with your taxes to be able to do this.
